Contact Soldering

Contact soldering uses direct physical contact between a heated element and the PCB to transfer heat. This method provides the fastest heat transfer rate among all soldering technologies.

Particularly effective for soldering large connectors, power components, and through-hole elements that require significant thermal energy. The heater precisely follows the board profile.

Advantages: high speed, energy efficiency, minimal thermal impact on surrounding components. Used in automotive electronics, power module assembly, and connector soldering.
